The Pink Canoe is a passion project dreamed up in the early days of COVID, when the outside world was a barren wasteland and all a couple of lesbians longed for was a dive bar with good music. One and a half short years later the building process commenced with a group of devoted and fearless dykes at the helm. After countless months toiling under the hot sun and braving the freezing cold, The Pink Canoe officially opened on December 11, 2021.
The owners are the queer power couple known as Em + Mo who routinely bring carefully curated construction dreams to establishment reality. When planning commenced for this neighborhood haunt, they cycled through myriads of themes until landing on the perfect concept: Lesbian Summer Camp. Prepare to walk into a cozy space clad in cedar and plenty of camp kitsch. Em, who often serves as bartender, will greet you with their best camp vibes and a strong drink while Mo, the amazing chef, brings you delicious platters of her tantalizing camp snacks.
